Edgewise
Privacy policy
Last updated: 4 August 2026
The short version
Edgewise has no server. It collects no data about you, contains no analytics and no tracking, and stores nothing off your device. Your Cloudflare credentials stay in the iOS Keychain on your iPhone.

Data we collect
None. We operate no servers, no database and no analytics. We receive no information about you, your account, your domains, or your use of the app. We could not identify a single user of Edgewise if we tried.
The app contains no third party SDKs, no advertising, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. It makes no network requests other than to Cloudflare.
Because we process no personal data, there is no GDPR legal basis to state. There is nothing to have a basis for.
What is stored on your device
| Data | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your Cloudflare access and refresh tokens, or the API token you supplied | iOS Keychain, protected by Face ID or Touch ID, marked device only | So the app can act as you on Cloudflare without asking you to sign in repeatedly |
| The email address of the signed in Cloudflare account | On your device | To label the account switcher, so connected accounts can be told apart |
| Which account is currently selected | On your device | So the app opens where you left off |
Deleting the app removes the app's stored data. Signing out inside the app also revokes its access at Cloudflare.
Biometrics
Face ID and Touch ID are handled entirely by iOS. Edgewise is told only whether authentication succeeded. Your biometric data is never available to the app and never leaves your device.
Cloudflare
Edgewise talks directly to Cloudflare's API from your device to do what you ask of it: listing domains, reading and changing DNS records, purging cache. Those requests go to Cloudflare, not to us, and Cloudflare's handling of them is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Edgewise requests only the permissions its screens actually use. You see the full list on Cloudflare's consent screen before you approve anything.
This website
This site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from anywhere else. Our host records standard server logs, which we do not use to identify visitors.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over personal data held about you. Because we hold none, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or erase. If you believe otherwise, write to support@chatoyant.tech and we will answer.
Data held in your Cloudflare account is yours and Cloudflare's. Those rights are exercised with Cloudflare directly.
Children
Edgewise is a tool for managing Cloudflare accounts. It is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. If a change ever means the app starts collecting something, we will say so plainly here and in the App Store release notes, rather than quietly editing this page.
